Artist Kate McCavitt joins Slow-Travel tour-master Cheryl Alexander of “Slow Travel” Italian Excursions September 21 - 28, 2013 for a fabulous tour.  Starting in Civita Castellana, a typical day would include a trip to Lago di Vico, then on to Nepi and Otricili.  Never heard of them????   That’s the whole idea of slow travel; to immerse yourself in the areas less travelled!  Each day we will also sketch, paint, photograph and play with Art Journals.  Join us for a  leisurely exploration of this richly textured and historically steeped region of Italy

Experience an unforgettable week in the Italian countryside. Take a trip unlike any other to a region of Italy that is less frequently traveled, yet rich in all that this extraordinary country has to offer. Spend time in the country living like the Italians, attuned to their rhythm of La Dolce Vita, which is slow and relaxed. Visit our photo gallery to see some of the stunning photos of past tours.

Use your creative side to enjoy Italy at its best. Italian Excursion offers small group tours that are not just memorable, but full of life, creativity and authenticity. The food, winery tours, cooking classes, camaraderie, and hidden treasures that Italian Excursion includes in your adventure will leave you with more than just a trip to Italy with lots of great pictures. You will take home a cultural experience that lives on in your own life and touches you deeply.
